Motor spindles represent a central part of the machine tool and machining centre and because of the complexity of the various construction design and mounting possibilities they are designed according to the customer request. Depending on the built-in synchronous or induction motor, different output characteristics of the motor spindle could be achieved, thus resulting in a variety of technological applications. Additionally, HSTEC develops high speed spindle motors with hollow shafts and special electric motor designs for direct drive applications.
